We are looking for a Full Stack developer to join our development team that creates Matrixian’s SaaS solutions.

Full-time · Amsterdam


About the job role

As a full stack developer you will be responsible for designing & developing new features & products for our Housing Intelligence, Customer Intelligence, and Location Intelligence services on our Matrixian Platform. Based in our Amsterdam, Netherlands office, you will be part of our multi-disciplinary international team of peer developers, DevOps engineers, product owners and designers.

About you

You are a full stack developer with at least 2 years experience and proven knowledge/skills on how to build SaaS solutions.

You take responsibility, are an independent self-starter, but you also like to work within a team. You are used to working with tight deadlines and have a flexible mindset to cope within a dynamic working environment and you like helping your team members to achieve the best they can.

Technical requirements:

  • Front-end technology: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript. Knowledge of third-party libraries like jQuery and Angular is desirable
  • Server-side programming language PHP, Symfony
  • Database: Experience with MongoDB and Elasticsearch is required. Knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Monstache is a plus.
  • Basic design ability: Design process knowledge of designing. Basic prototype design and UI/UX design.
  • Server: Knowledge of handling Apache servers is desirable. A background in Linux is helpful
  • Familiar with cloud hosting on AWS: CloudFront, Amazon ECS
  • Version control system (VCS): Git, Bitbucket
  • Working with API (REST & SOAP): Knowledge of web services or API is also important for full stack developers. Knowledge of creations and consumption of REST and SOAP services is desirable.
  • Docker, Jenkins, Serverless, Bitbucket, Jira & Confluence
  • Compliance with our secure development policies

It would be a bonus if you have:

  • The ability to write quality unit tests and e2e tests scripts
  • Good understanding of automated processes for building, testing, documenting, and deploying at scale
