Having completed our migration to the Cloud, we are looking for a new colleague to monitor, improve and scale our infrastructure to help us realize our growth ambitions. About the job role

As a SysAdmin/DevOps engineer you will take care of our Cloud hosted infrastructure that is the Platform for our Housing Intelligence, Customer Intelligence, and Location Intelligence services. Along with our development and data team you will efficiently deploy new features and fixes and you are responsible for operations.

As SysAdmin engineer you will be our go-to person for all required IT tooling; in place to get our job done; software and (some) hardware. Based in our Amsterdam, Netherlands office, you will be part of our multi-disciplinary international team of peer developers, product owners and designers and render IT services to your colleagues in sales and marketing, support, admin and management.

About you

You are a SysAdmin/DevOps engineer with at least 2 years experience and proven knowledge/skills on how to build SaaS solutions and maintain IT environments for development shops.

You take responsibility, are an independent self-starter, but you also like to work within a team. You are used to working with tight deadlines and have a flexible mindset to cope within a dynamic working environment and you like helping your team members to achieve the best they can.

Technical requirements

  • Familiarity with agile software development

  • Full understanding of automated processes for building, testing, documenting, and deploying at scale
  • Experienced in handling Apache servers. A background in Linux is helpful
  • Experienced in Cloud hosting on AWS: CloudFront, Amazon ECS,
  • Experience administering and deploying development CI/CD tools such as Docker Git, Jira, Jenkins
  • Experience in support for office automation and business support systems, hardware and software. Experience with telecoms and networking systems.
  • Well versed in all IT aspects of Information Security

It would be a bonus if you have:

  • The ability to write quality unit tests and e2e tests scripts
  • Good understanding of automated processes for building, testing, documenting, and deploying at scale
